I’m off work today. It’s Friday. It’s the day when a lot of people have plans for fun things to do. What do I have plans for? Paying some bills.

It’s been probably nearly a year since I’ve had a Friday off, but it really doesn’t make much difference when you don’t have a social life, does it? I wonder how I got this old without having a circle of friends?

I do have friends. But they are all married. So, I think I’ll do what I can to get bills paid and perhaps develop an eBay presence again. If I’m not going to go out for any reason, I might as well stay in and try to generate some income. Perhaps, eventually, I’ll get to the point where I’ll meet new friends and have things fun to do. It’s just not now.

The very first diamond ring I ever received was from my first husband. It was small and modestly priced, but meant so much to me for many years. It symbolized our marriage.

I suppose, though, I would have treasured an Anniversary Ring from Danny more than anything, even my first wedding ring set. We were married almost 21 years when he passed away. I would have loved a ring for our 20th anniversary.

If you have someone in your life that you love dearly, don’t put off showing them. Don’t delay giving them something lovely. The time to express your love is today - now.

I have spent the last few days either working at McDonald’s or working online. Had I a faster connection, I could either pare down the time I spend online or at least get more done.

This kind of work schedule means very little rest for me, and I wind up totally exhausted by the time I get a day off. In fact, I’m pretty well wiped out right now but I do have to work tonight and tomorrow night. By Monday, well, I just don’t know.

If I’m going to shop, I’m going to shop with bargain hunting in mind. I’m also going to shop for things I need for certain, such as items that will help me get and stay organized. I just hate to look for something around here and not be able to find it because I didn’t have a good place to stow it away.

Of course, of prime concern is food storage so that I am not tossing things out because they were poorly packaged in the fridge or freezer. Ok, so now I’ve found a great place to find bargains and great containers at the same time. Online Discount Mart has some really nice sets of food storage containers that would really help me keep food in the fridge longer than just a zip bag can.

By the way, they are currently offering a 10% discount on all orders now through the end of the summer. What’s the minimum purchase? There isn’t one! This discount is for all orders, no matter what size the order is. I think that’s a great idea.

Here’s the set I want. 100 pieces, food storage container set including measuring spoons and cups. You know, this would make a great shower gift for a bride-to-be. And the price of $12.95 is great. Oh yes, don’t forget the 10% discount, too!
