Fossilized remains
A couple of days ago, I went shopping at Target. I don’t normally shop there as I find the prices to generally be too high. However, I was in the neighborhood and not in the mood to fight traffic to go across town to another store.
I spent too much money on some very mundane items at Target, and when I got to the checkout was sorry I hadn’t gone ahead and shopped elsewhere. Besides the money aspect, one thing really set me off about the whole thing. They don’t sell ordinary bath powder.
I looked around. I asked. No. They don’t carry bath powder at all, not even in gift sets at Christmas time.
Is it possible that I’m the only remaining, living woman who uses bath powder? I don’t think so. It’s a simple thing that I feel is the proper end for my shower. I feel drier, my underthings and clothes go on easier, and the fragrance is very light and clean.
I was relegated to getting baby powder, which works just fine but wasn’t what I was shopping for. I got lavender & chamomile, so I wouldn’t smell like a baby at least. I’m a bit old for that particular fragrance.

I use lotions as well, but after my bath in this humid Arkansas summer, I need bath powder so my clothes don’t just roll up when I’m trying to put them on…LOL
Thanks for dropping by.

Interesting post! I have to admit that I’m not a powder person, I usually use lotions for my dry skin.
